A prominent developer has acquired a 600-acre parcel of land situated on the west side of the Airport.

The expansive project in North Fort Worth is set to grow even further.

Fort Worth’s Huge Development Growth continues to impress, with expansive urban renewal and construction projects transforming the cityscape. This surge in development attracts businesses and residents alike, bolstering the local economy and cementing Fort Worth’s status as a thriving metropolitan hub in Texas.

The developer behind the initiative, has recently acquired an additional 600 acres adjacent to the intermodal facility. This strategic purchase paves the way for increased warehouse development, significantly enhancing the project’s scale and capabilities.

They have announced that with the acquisition of land along FM156 near Fort Worth’s airport, it now possesses sufficient property to develop an additional 36 million square feet of industrial space.

Tony Creme, senior vice president, called the acquisition “one of the most pivotal in history.” He continued, “As the airport and the intermodal facility expand and bolster the commercial development, this new property in Westport will serve as a crucial link between these essential logistics infrastructures, offering unparalleled connectivity for our clients.”

The Westport business park features 8 million square feet of industrial and aviation facilities, and housing operations for UPS.

Details of the property sale were not disclosed.

Recently marking its 30th anniversary, the development spans 26,000 acres and includes 45 million square feet of buildings. There are still over 10,000 acres available for future development.

The project provides employment for more than 60,000 individuals.

To date, the development has had an estimated economic impact of $76 billion on North Texas.
